Rim El Rafii
Coming from a Lebanese background, Rim has BA in Arabic language and literature from the Lebanese University. Speaks 3 languages: Arabic, French and English .
El Rafii is a writer worked in the TV industry for children programs, children magazines and created/ directed/ script wrote for theatre and TV shows over 15 years in Lebanon and UAE. Created and directed a play for children in Lebanon. Worked as TV producer and a reporter for Abu Dhabi TV, Sharjah TV and Al Jazira kids channel as a freelancer reporter.
In Canada, Rim learned videography at Rogers TV and took a cinematography course she has covered lots of events and topics that introduced her to the Canadian society. Also, it helped her understand her surrounding and gave an opportunity to be more involved with it.
Parallel to that, in 2010, Rim has started a children tutoring Arabic language through arts where part of her passion and strength is “teaching kids”. During this journey of teaching Arabic , and observing children, she has recognized many obstacles that they face in learning Arabic. This inspired her later to create an intense fun curriculum Arabic program tailored to Canadian children’s needs that attracts them and encourage them to go to Arabeez school …. where children Love Arabic .
